Battery locations
Hello all.
First post here. getting ready to start on my 2004 6.0 PSD EB passenger conversion.
First order of business big deep cycle batteries. They must go under the van.The passenger side frame rail is full. (Two starting Batteries) . That leaves a few places.
Room for one battery on driver side frame rail on legs around parking brake cable.
Lots of room (for two) behind differential infront of rear cross member.
Last spot is both outside rear corners, tied to frame rails Next to tow hitch mounts.
? any feedback on those spots. Planning on either two GC6V or 4Ds
Thanks Oliver

Re: Battery locations
2 4D's are huge. I'd think behind the axle where the spare used to go would be the logical choice.
Easy to get a jack in when you want to access the batteries. Probably easiest if you have one frame for two batteries.

Check my Gallery. I have photos of where our two 4Ds are mounted. We also have the XL storage.

Re: Battery locations
Greg, those pics had better be when new - it is far too clean under there.

Yep. I think Jage needed those about the time we were taking possession. I was under there today and thinking how I need to clean it after next weeks trip.
