Awesome!! But then I'm old enough to remember when you had to pound it out or lead it. And then you'd slam the hood and the lead would pop out from under your new paint where the hood ornament used to be...

Properly applied, lead never popped out. Now Bondo was another story. The shop I played at while in high school would use lead on the front of a car and Bondo behind the windshield.

Back at home.
Bumpers should be here next week Aluminess is backed up with orders from the Border Patrol. Lucky me they one for the 1993 laying around.

Betty get a face lift.


Drill holes for the Hella Lights and wires.


The lower lights Are Warn 2 stage I had them on the last unit and loved them. I dont like the the Hella covers think im going to paint them black.

Lead is just like solder. Clean the metal, apply heat and flux, melt the solder onto the metal while tinning the surface. Guys that are really good at it can keep the solder at a semi-solid state so it will maintain a near net shape.

Properly done the lead will never come out without the application of heat to melt it. Before Bondo (1950's??) lead was the primary way to fill dents.
