Re: Betty #2

Well I drove 1800mi in 48 hrs to get my new Pop Top From Jackson Hole to Port Angeles Wa. just to get home to a snow storm. I guess I get to wait till it stops snowing. Then its all about cutting my roof off.

Re: Betty #2

Wow. Wait, what?

Can you recap the story of getting the top? Start with "I was thinking of doing my own top..."

Re: Betty #2

Ok, I bought a Top off a Eurovan Westy from a guy I found on the "Gowesty" site. It is the newer style so it is very stream lined and will fit on the Ford. It is will be Just like the top Spurious put on his. I got the idea when i bought my van from him 2 months ago and have been searching everywhere for one.
So now I get to install it ya wana help? I should be done by Wednesday maybe sooner if the weather clears

Ron

Ps.. not really cutting off the roof just cutting a hole in it.

Re: Betty #2

It had a blown motor and instead of fixing it "She" decided to that buying a Euro van with nothing in it and moving all her Westy stuff into the new one was a good idea!! Long story short half way thru the changes she ran out of money and bingo I bought the top. I wish I would have taken a picture of her new van it was a mess. Its shorter so nothing fits. and the guy doing the install had no idea what to do next. I felt sorry for her but my money will help. I told her to never let that guy touch it again and have it towed somewhere. She was not going to use the top anyway.
