Weldtec Baja Grocer Getter Finally Installed!

Hey all I've been finally making some progress on Big Stinky.

Finally got the Weltec Kit underneath it. Running 315/75r16 on the steel wheels. Going to probably powdercoat them at some point. I like the simple stock look with 8 lugs. Highly functional.

Now it's measuring over 10ft tall without a roof rack on it! Drives amazing though, way better than stock. Anyone have tips on shim kits to get the alignment dialed? Its about 2 out.

Big "Stinky" Build Thread 1992 7.3 Baja Pre-runner

Hey Drew! Looking great, nice to see things have progressed, hope all’s well on your end. We’re wrapping up our full time travels a year early and heading back to CO after 2 years on the road, it’s been great, but as Forest Gump once famously said “I’m pretty tired….I think I’ll go home now”. Hope to see you again down in Baja next winter!

So good to hear from you! It sounds like an incredible time so far but it is always good to be home. What an experience! Since you are the forum King on here I am curious if you've seen anything like this?

You talking about the rotopax and hi-lift mount….is that a mock up? Nice photoshop work. No, haven’t seen that done on the side window, but someone had made a rear window fill plate to mount things, believe they’re avail for purchase….anyone here have that info or thread?
