Yup! There it is. Were you picking up the super clean 1998 van yesterday?

Van is now officially in agile's hands and I couldn't feel better about it. Winch, onboard air and the switch pro are all a go. The next month can't go by quick enough!

The next month will be hard, but it will be such a rad transformation! Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Almost 2 weeks down! Have received some progress pics, but I dont want to spoil it until the end.

Need some advice on how I want to wire up my switch pro.

The plan right now is to have my swtchpro wired "downstream" from my blue sea 7622. That way I can run whatever is connected to the switchpro off house batteries. And while I am driving, it should be pulling from the alternator.

I can connect 8 things to the switchpro
1. Air compressor
2. fog lights
3. Interior lights
4. exterior flood lights
5. light bar Future)
6. Fridge?
7. Stereo?
8. Water pump

Anyways, do you think it's better to have it mounted under my hood, or next to the house batteries inside a cabinet to be built along the drivers side?

Seems like next to the house batteries would be more convenient, especially with the mixed use of the switches being exterior and interior accessories.

I plan to mount the switches up top to the headliner.

Any thoughts/comments/opinions would be wonderful!

Great thread. You and your wife seem like you have life figured out!

Early on you showed your fridge/freezer. What brand and model is that?

here it is

https://www.amazon.com/Whynter-FM-62...idge+feezer+rv

draws a little less than 7 amps i believe when having half of it be a freezer. THe nice part is, it can be two freezers compartments, two fridge compartments, or either combination of both. Works really well for precooking meals, vacum sealing them, and freezing them for longer trips. Well that, and making sure you always have ice cream sandwiches on board!

Other bonus is it just fits between the two front seats. I have it opening towards the passenger seat, so my wife can pass me cold drinks and ice cream sandwiches while I drive.

Extra extra bonus is that it provides a nice surface in between the front to seats at a nice height. Perfect for quick eating while on the road. However, it has become the favorite position of our dog. Here is a coolage my wife made of him growing up and always liking that spot haha.

Ya, the more I think about it, it makes more sense. Most of the items I will want to connect will be on the interior of the van. I like that it will be blue tooth, so i can turn things on/off while in the penthosue
