Do you ever vent your driver side window?

I'm looking at adding the driver side rear window to my van.
I have pop out 60/40 and rear doors, and crank windows up front, and will install a max fan.

The question is do you use the vent on your "CR Lawrence T window" or any other "RV" window in that space. The reason I'm asking is factory glass is a good bang for the buck. I can live w/o "TILT"

There is a nice proof of concept where a guy glued the factory window onto the exterior of the van, like a windshield goes on. This is a nice solution because factory glass is cheap, and fits the contour pretty darn well.

Here are some photos from that effort.

Note I only plany to do one, as I am looking into flares for the rear.

Godammit photos got mangled. Standby

Being in the auto/truck glass business that's a crafty way adding factory glass to an E-Series where it wasn't part of the original body.

Doing this would require the special primers and urethane adhesive properly applied in order to do the job right. It's far from impossible but does require attention to details like positioning the cut out section and prepping the body to accept the glass adhesive.

Let us know how you do---if you need any help or ideas about materials I use feel free to ask!

I use that drivers side CRL vent window the most in my van. Mostly because its my only window with a screen on it. I keep it closed while driving because it has a ton of wind noise past 45mph. Install of the crl is a breeze, with a steady hand of cutting the hole in the van. the Oem style window would have been too large for my particular build. It’s all about what works best for your needs.

Can you please elaborate on "the Oem style window would have been too large?

Here are the photos I tried to post before. This is a cargo van getting a stock window glued on.

Regarding the size of the oem glass. My countertop would have covered up half of the oem size lower window. Being a 4 season camper, the less glass to insulate the better.
