End result. I'm very happy with it. In addition to the floor and rockers they did the door sills and hardware.

I had it done at a local maaco and the liner is very similar to line x in look and texture. Very hard material compared to the softer rhino style. Which is what I wanted. And with the rust repair they were still cheaper then most places would do either one alone.

Next up. Seats and interior.

Good looking van. I like window vans with fiberglass tops and I looked hard at the Chevy because it had a more contemporary look than the Ford IMO when I ordered mine in 2002.* I also like white vans. But to me your Line X lower looks great, and speaking from a little experience, is very practical considering the scratches and dings from rocks thrown from the tires which my van has experienced in the 13 years since I bought it. Spraying the bed also was very smart. I just wanted to express some compliments. IMHO, you are on the right track and it shows well.

* But I wanted the 7.3LPSD diesel because diesel was $0.30 less per gallon than gasoline in 2002! Could the govt/enviro/oil company conspiracy be f'ing with us diesel owners a little? I.e., fuel price increase, regen reqmt., DPF...

Thanks! I'll be updating the headlights soon too. Just for that reason, I like the newer kind of look the chevy had. And I am trying to not look like a creeper van.

A friend said the liner made it look like it had been stuck in the mud.

Hopefully it functions well. There were several dings and scratches before.

It doesn't look like a creeper van at all. The fact that it's a window van solves that.

Headlight update. Not a bad upgrade if you want to get away from the look of the older work truck.

Initially I bought new headlights, grill, and radiator wall.

Once I got thinges apart. I decided to modify my radiator sport wall because it was easier then pulling the ac, radiator, and oil cooler. And will save some money if anyone else is looking to do it.

I bought the grill and headlights from Rock auto. They Ebvn came with new bulbs. I used some harnesses from a junkyard chevy truck with the connectors to change from the sealed bulb to the composite lights with separate bulbs.

Repeat for the driver side.

You can see the 3 lead old connector for the Sealed bulb. It will get cut into 2 different connectors for the new bulbs. Easy splicing. Shared ground. Separate high and low bulbs.
