Ever tried these headlights? (

I'm interested in a more modern approach which my headlights and saw these...

I can't find any pictures of how bright the upgrade would be and wondering if anyone has comments about going with a design like this.

Yes, have them on my van. Rawdawg has them also. They are brighter than stock with a better cutoff point. Good upgrade if your stock lights are faded/fogged out like mine were.

I see you have the LED strip in there as well. Does it only come on when you turn your headlights on? I notice in the description that the strip acts as a running light, but not sure how that would work on our vans that don't have running lights. I have a 2003 model and pretty sure it doesn't.

Re: Ever tried these headlights? (

The description seems a little thin. When are the LED's on? Are they wired to the high beam, low beam, parking light or turn signal?

Have you considered converting to a sealed beam type headlight? I'm not sure what' involved in the conversion. If you could convert you could run a European Hella or Bosch headlight. That would give you more bulb options than are available with the 9007 bulb used in the composite headlight system.

I'm not a big fan of the plastic housings on the newer headlight systems. Over time they get clouded up and you loose a lot of light. I'll take a good 'ole glass headlight anytime.

They are also available without LED. I have them with LED and let them work with extra wires like a daylight. Took the 12V from place 21 in the fuse box (2001 E 350)
