Finally got my dream van!

Hello all,
My name is Sam and I’m here to document my van build! I recently bought a non running 2005 Ford E-350 Super Duty 15 passenger van with the 6.0 powerstroke diesel. I have been looking for one of these for a long time and finally stumbled upon this one 7 hours away from me in Oregon. I couldn’t pass it up for the $1200 price. It’s definitely been well used with 259k on the clock.
Since the purchase I fixed a few issues, the no start issue was the stand pipes and dummy plugs on the driver side. But I went ahead and replace both sides, also replaced the icp sensor with an OEM ford unit. Replaced the #4 injector as well. Replaced the FICM. I also converted the front end to the 08+ although I haven’t purchased a grille yet. Waiting out to see if I can find a good condition one at my local junkyard. At some point I would like to tackle the 09+ dash swap as well. Looks pretty straight forward minus some wiring differences with the gauge cluster.
Now she has a cylinder contribution code for #6 but I believe the culprit is the wiring harness because it is so intermittent. The harness costs more than I paid for the van lol so I am going to completely remove the engine harness and repair it myself with new wiring and connectors, etc. Ideally I would like to pull the body this winter and replace the head gaskets, do head studs, and reseal everything I can as well as do the harness.

Obviously not shy of any challenge, backed by fearless commitment. Wish I had that drive (this dog's just to old to learn new tricks!). Congrats!

You’re never too old! Haha but I am not afraid of a challenge and this thing is pretty fun and challenging to work on!

Thank you all for the positive comments!
