I recently discovered that in some newer Ford F-150s an option is a seat that Fords flat with the seat base that adjusts to make it completely flat for sleeping/lying down. I haven’t seen any in person but I’m wondering if anyone here has experience with these seats? These seem like a really awesome option for up fitting into a van. I’m sure the electronics could get interesting.
I'm pretty sure the chip shortage has prevented Ford from actually making that option. Some probably made it through production before they ran out, but they're only shipping very low-content trucks now. Might be a while before you see any in the wild. But I agree! That could be a fantastic upgrade for a van!
