Got my new tow mirrors!

So I found a SWEEET deal on brand new pulloff tow mirrors on ebay. $103 shipped for both. They show up and look basically brand new.

Passenger side is power, driver is manual.

These things really make my van look twice as big. I haven't mounted them yet (pour rain in Oklahoma this week) but have big plans for the weekend.

Am super stoked. Been hesitating to tin my club wagon window van because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to back the thing up.

These out to be the business. I'm just hoping they don't affect gas mileage much. She's already thirsty.

If they do slow you down, just add a racing stripe on them.

I couldn't drive without mine

Re: Got my new tow mirrors!

Sounds like a great find! I've been wanting a set of these - but whenever I look on eBay I only find aftermarket mirrors, and I want Ford ones. Can you share the seller name? Was it a one-off or is it someone who may have more?

Alternatively, does anyone know of a seller/source who somewhat regularly has the Ford take offs? I have a late 90's E-250 with power mirrors, but would love a set of the extendable tow mirrors!

Thanks,
Viva

Re: Got my new tow mirrors!

These are the aftermarket I think, but super heavy duty. Well built.

I actually mounted one today and then had to take it off. They add 3" extra wide on either side, so half a foot total. Just way too wide.

I wouldn't be able to get it in the tight parking at the beach, so back to ebay they go.

Guess I should post them up here.

Re: Got my new tow mirrors!

They fold. Minor inconvenience for having much better visibility.
