Awww come on now.....you can't just post pictures without a little back story attached.

What all did action vans do? How much lift and did you upgrade the brakes?

Nice choice on wheels by the way. I'm sure I've seen those same wheels somewhere.

Re: Got the van back from Action Van!

Sorry, I took the pictures this morning and posted them while at work.

Purchased in march, the van started as Starcraft conversion van with some horrible pinstriping. The pinstriping was so bad that I had to get it wet sanded off.

I will post pictures of the interior soon. I changed out the carpet and the seats and rear bed are in good condition, so no work needed there for now.

It's a 93 E150, so the lift plus the tires gave me about a 7 inch lift.
Wheels are Eagle 100, 15x8. Tires are Yokohama geolander 32 11.5 15.

I was talking to larry at Action Van about a locker or maybe a LSD, this will probably be the next upgrade.

Definitely get some sort of rear locker! The old tried and true “Detroit Locker” may be good (and relatively cheap) option for that van. The E-150’s semi float axle has limited choices for mechanical lockers (Eaton, ARB, etc.).
The rear end’s traction gives you a false sense of security until one day one of your front wheels goes up a slight slope and one rear wheel just spins and the van stops.

It's looks like the "Detroit locker" locks when needed and unlocks during regular driving conditions. Is that correct?

Got the van back from Action Van!

Thank you, this is all new to me. I have had around 10 Honda/Acura cars and nothing else.

I think that is what I I want.
