I think if u hook up with a local Chevy mechanic in Vancouver or Portland they should be able to get you the parts for a ~3" lift from off the shelf Chevy truck parts. Even the AWD lift parts from boulder were near stock parts according to the guy that installed our BOR kit.

On the passenger swivel we use ours every trip out once parked. Don't think a state trouper would appreciate someone riding in it in the backward position, nor your insurance agent.

I actually have heard that is ok but I'm not really interested in trying it. What I heard a few years back is that in an RV, which is considered a house as well as a vehicle, the laws on booze are a bit different, and passengers can inbibe if they so choose in the back. In the front passenger seat I would bet not. I'm happy to pull over and spin that seat around.
