I've had the Vantage Optics for a while now - No substitute! You really never know how bad the OME's were until you get a set of these installed. Scott has a thread here: https://www.sportsmobileforum.com/fo...-14304-63.html
***Believe you'll find nothing but praise for his product.

EDIT: Will recommend the "Ford Econoline Advanced HID Projector Retrofit Headlight Kit", with the upgraded projector, ballast, & Bulbs...yes, costs more but worth every penny when you turn on your headlights at night.

The owner of vantage optics is a member on this forum. He's got a thread on here and sometimes offers discounts.

If you’re like me and had sealed beam headlights and didn’t want to go through the work of converting to composite headlights, the JW Speaker 8910 drop in LED lights are awesome. On par price wise with Vantage.

i have a 2002 E350 and ordered those HIDs from Vantage in October 2019. I absolutely love them. The difference between the OEM and the new Vantage HIDs is undescribable, but I will try. The light color is slightly cooler than OEM, but still warm. The beams have no hotspots, and the cutoff is very smooth and works perfectly, needed for higher vehicles. The light extends further to the sides than the OEM lighting, giving a wider range of lighting. I am very happy with the materials and construction, and especially with Scott's service.

I was so happy with the headlights, I went and bought the replacement brake lights a couple months later. I highly recommend both of these upgrades.

I also have the 2003 E350 4X4 SMB
I have decided to replace the factory headlights with the VantageOptics.
QUESTION: I replaced the factory headlights several years ago with new factory lights.
It was a very easy swap out. Is the Vantage replacements lights the same simple swap?
or should I have a professional install the new lights?
Which V-Optics version is the best replacement ?

Thanks for the interest and kind words on my Vantage Optics products! The swap from the OEM to the VO kits is very straightforward. They mount in the same locations with the same components and only require a couple of extra steps to get setup properly. We now offer ballast mounting brackets for the 97-up vans to make the installation much cleaner and easier. The required relay harness is plug and play with a single power source (fuse box location recommended) and two grounds.

My recommendation for the kit with the best overall bang for the buck is the Basic Retrofit Kit with the following options (most are defaults):
Basic HID Retrofit Kit
Black/Chrome housings
Morimoto H1 8.0 Projectors
Apollo 2 Flat shrouds
Morimoto XB H1 bulbs
Hylux AMP ballasts
Ballast Mount Brackets
9007 relay harness
LED turn signal kit

Feel free to call or email with any questions you may have (there are lots of options!)
