Curious. What kind of welding did you use for the battery tray?
I have an opportunity to take a class in Arc, MIG or TIG. I've been trying to figure out what would be best for that type of application.

That voyager top looks great! There is a premium to be paid for the Fiberine but I just haven't seen another that looks as good!

Spent the week doing insulation and rough wiring. I'm beginning to realize why it takes so much money and time to build these things! Sheesh!
Took a break from the interior yesterday to install the new Aluminess front bumper. Looks great!

If you are looking to do general fabrication stuff like this go MIG.

A few more photos from the past week. Adding more insulation (Thermozite and 1/2" foam core) also working on the front bulkhead.

Garage
Nice work !

I also have wood reinforcements in my hightop, it's a good improvement.

Still plugging away bit my expensive bit.

Found a new Front Runner aluminum rack for a Landcruiser 200 on Craigslist and I thought with a few minor tweaks it would work for mounting on the top. It's really only going to be used to mount the solar panels. Cut a portion of the rack mounts off, flipped the cargo portion upside down and it'll work great! A fraction of the cost of some of the other options out there and relatively low profile in relation to the top.
Installed a fantastic fan, started on the semi permanent bed/cargo platform and cabinetry. Oh,....and new seats from a 2016 E series.
