Just installed - 24" Fixed hightop

March 1, 2019 the folks at Fiberine installed my new 24" bubble top. Fantastic build quality and very rigid. Options included:


12" x 44" screened and sliding windows
1/2" OSB reinforced ceiling
4" x 1/2" side strips for awning and cabinets


Full time standing room is spectacular! Added several pictures to my album.

Will probably go with a durable truck bed liner on the top. Time to get busy on my build out... Solar/battery design and insulation for PacNW weather are up first.

Just measured from a bolt hole for a seat bracket middle of van and get 6' 3". So easily 6'1" with properly insulated floor and ceiling.

Never really had a chance to see the inside of a hightop prior to any build-out, that looks huge. Your Vans going to look great with that top painted, might consider liner on the rockers as well.

Looks great! I have done bed liner on a few tops and other projects. I strongly recommend getting tintable liner and having the tint base mixed by a pro. Don't skimp on quality. I did one with a cheaper Nason? tint base once and it was ok but the next I went for Dupont paint and it matched much better. It's not expensive or difficult to do this, all things considered, and it does make a difference IMO when viewed from a distance.

I've never used the brand Monstaliner but reading their webpage they're geared towards tintable colors. I also like they discuss ways to achieve various degrees of texture from almost flat smooth to gnarly chunks for traffic. Worth looking into IMHO: Monstaliner do-it-yourself roll-on truck bed liner
