Here are some pics:

The finish is weatherbeaten rustoleum satin black

.....and there are set screws that tighten them to the gutter from below; I wasn't fond of the pan head screws being on top of the brackets as they can tear up the penthouse roof gasket.

I also designed the bracket to "grip" the gutter a bit more robustly, hopefully that is shown in the pics.

Garage
Boywonder are these homemade brackets possible to reproduce? My gasket is torn from the stock setup which I feel is reply janky.

Boywonder, thank you! Your mounting brackets look so awesome! Just to double check, do you me set screws go through the van rain lip or just press against it?

Again, the brackets look great and thank you for sharing the pictures.

Vandiesel: They are not reproducible by me.....but certainly someone with a couple hunks of aluminum and a mill should be able to mill something similar. There are no drawings as they were just milled free-form from my head..and lots of fit checking.

Wisco: The set screws are nylon tipped and they tighten against the underside of the gutter to clamp the brackets in place....ie they press against it.
