Pop top coming!!!
Very excited to have made the down payment on the Colorado Camper Van top with insulated canvas walls, fantastic fan, interior walls, finished doors with storage, roof rack and ladder!!!!
It will be awhile before I drop it off, as Derek is still recovering from the Colorado flood... and he is pretty darn busy.
BUT, I am freakin' SIKED!!!! I cannot wait to get out and enjoy all places it will take me.

Re: My build so far
Are you having CCV put the low top like the SMB or their regular cruiser type top?

Re: My build so far
Cruiser top. I thought I wanted the low profile version until I went to see CCV's high top version. The additional headroom with the top down is awesome.

Re: My build so far
Hey how's the Plastidip holding up? I'm thinking of doing my entire van in Camo Tan. Got a couple quotes but haven't pulled the trigger.

Re: My build so far
Plastidip is holding strong…. mostly.
Drove through a hail storm this spring in the San Juans, and it has flaked off in a few spots around the windshield. Other than that, its good. I have driven through narrow, tree lined paths and "tried" to scratch off, but it held up fine.

Re: My build so far... Deconstructed
Back to the drawing the board.... After a bit of work and a little fun, I am not taking apart nearly everything previously done. I was only partially satisfied with the work I completed initally, and now I am having a PH top put in next month, which made me rethink the layout I was working on.
So, back to the drawing board. I was able to pull almost everything out today before it real cold and started snowing. I pulled down all the reflectix, tore out the bed/benches, door cabinet, stove/storage tool cabinet and all of the hardware out of the flooring. The next warmish day I will pull out the floor.
More updates as I take a second whack at it.
