Need San Diego Installer ASAP

So I had an appointment today in San Diego with Aluminess to get front/rear bumpers installed. Due to the Colorado wildfires, my CCV top install was delayed, I had to cancel the Aluminess install and they don't have any open install slots for 2 weeks.

I'll be in San Diego on Monday Nov. 2nd for 24 hours max. No tools. My Aluminess stuff is sitting at their office and ready to go, they just can't fit me in for an install. Looking for any place in San Diego that can do a bumper install on short notice.

TIA

Did you try Agile Off Road? They are right across the street from Aluminess.

I asked Aluminess if they could recommend anyone close and they said "Agile, but they are slammed right now".

That’s disappointing that Aluminess won’t figure out some way to make it happen for you given that you are buying thousands of dollars worth of stuff from them. Maybe you can throw a bit of overtime pay at them and an installer might be willing to stay late?

I'd call Agile regardless of what Aluminess says. Of course, they are both probably slammed but I'd get the word from the source.

Yeah, I thought that too. I told them "Look, I'm only going to be in San Diego for 1 day. I had an appointment set for months that was only canceled due to these wildfires. My install is almost $8500. Can I pay some kind of Rush or Convenience fee to get this done? You guys said it would only take 3 hours."

They're response was basically "We are totally booked that day but we'll let you know if we can fit you in".

I figure there has to be some place in SD that can squeeze in a 3 hour install, but I'm still looking.

I left messages at Agile and Weldtec.

I was going to suggest Weldtec, I see you contacted them.

I'm not calling out Aluminess because i don't know the specifics of what they have going on that day but to me this seems like a pretty big customer service fail. They have lots of jobs for people out of town that could surely get pushed off a day or a few hours, at the very least.

Anyway, that's a lot of cheddar you spent with them. Doesn't seem like good business to me.
