Re: New van and new member...

I have a buddy that does a lot of truck lifts helping me out at his shop on the Action Van lift.

Everything else is really easy to do. I also got a set of black bumpers and a black grill to accent the accessories. Also got a nice stereo system I need to install...

Anyways, will come together soon enough. I have plenty of time.

Welcome! That's going to be one Hot Rod! Have fun with the install.

Re: New van and new member...

Looking really nice! I'm always glad to see someone starting with a passenger van like i did. So much nicer interior IMO, but of course it all depends on what you want to do with it. I wanted to make a comfortable place for a family of 4 to travel long distances, so i kept 2 benches for kids to sit/sleep as well as the front buckets.
Love the skid o' goodies, can't wait to see it installed.
Here's my (former) church bus, actually, mine was owned by a family with 8 kids, never was actually a church bus. Needless to say, first thing i did was throw all of the carpet out.

Re: New van and new member...

Kind of cruddy out and the road grime was all over the van, but got everything close to done externally. Will be trying to find some steps that look good for the outside, but think I am almost done externally...

Anyone have a good source for steps for the van?

I had Aluminess drop the nerf bar steps down an extra 2". I call them Nerf Steps. They hang down a little to far for any serious wheeling but I get in and out of the van a lot more than I go off road. They work great for steps and are pretty much even with the axles.
