Always nice to see a plan come together. - bet you are excited to get this far with no hidden issues developing yet.

Was this at a shop on Chinden today? If so it’s definitely a head turner.

K good I feel better bout my eye then cause when I drove by I swear it only had a 16” top on it. Too cool though you gotta be stoked! If you see us out in the woods stop and say hi. Would love to see it in person.

So, here it is with the rack, etc.

Just got back from Hillsboro, about 550 miles. Stopped and looked things over pretty frequently, nothing got hot or fell off, so I guess we're OK!

Details, if anyone is curious:
F350 Dana front/10.5 rear, 4:88 gears and true track diff on both ends.
35 12.50 17s
Just short of 10' at the top of the rack.
8500 pounds with both of us in it and all the camping gear loaded.
11 mpg on the first fuel stop (lots of town, a big pass, and wall to wall holiday traffic) 13.25 mpg on the next stop (mostly easy 55/60 mph back roads and no real traffic).

I think things are coming together!

So I got to shake the 4x4 down a little. Went out in the Owyhees and romped around, seems like it's really hooked up. Tried some things that usually result in digging and spinning with the pickup, the van just sort of mopes through with no drama.

No big bangs or crunches, so I think it's all going to work out!

Thanks! As far as "talented", don't look too close...

I'm not much of a carpenter, so the wood work has been a lot of trial (cuss at it) and error.
