Thanks!
AJ's 4X4 vans built them, while they were doing the 4x4 conversion. The sliders will fit any E series van, since they're all the same wheelbase.
I haven't leaned'em on a rock yet, but they seem pretty solid (and they make it easier to climb in).

For the next couple years we plan on mostly weekend/long weekend camping locally, probably a couple of longer trips (AZ, NM, UT) every year. Definitely going to do the IDBDR as soon as possible.

I'm retiring in a couple years and we'll range farther out, and for longer duration.

Shenrie, sorry about the late response! Yeah, I'd be happy to get together and compare notes.

Idaho Backcountry Discovery Route. It's about 1200-1300 miles of mostly back roads and trails from Jarbridge, NV to the Canadian border. Idaho is only about 400 miles north-south, so there is a bit of meandering involved. The Lolo trail and Magruder corridor are part of it.

If you are interested in this sort of thing, ridebdr.com has a website with information about BDRs in several western states, but also NY, and Mid-Atlantic (Virginia to Pennsylvania). It's geared toward dual sport bikes, but most of the trails are doable in a capable 4X4. Some of the stages are just forest service roads and you could go with any vehicle, some stages are pretty serious and you need serious equipment.

Got more work done! Insulated the back wall, got the back splash up, built the counter, plumbed and tested the sink and burner, and put in a couple storage baskets.
