Dave, do you mean the SMEV brand that makes the sink/stove models with the dark glass tops? If so, I love those but for me it was a cost issue. I paid about $50 for this stove, I actually wasn't even going to put one in but am already glad I did after one trip. She loves it!
If you are after the SMEV brand I would try Panther RV. They have the best prices I've found on those and several other van friendly items.

Thanks

I took a pic or two of the cover that I got for mine, so I'm pretty happy with it now without being flush mounted. We still have a decent amount of usable space on the counter. I do want to build a sink cover, though, so we'll have even more.

Re: Out with the old, in with the new

build continued................I finally got some pics of the rest of my propane system. As stated in my furnace thread, I'm keeping a BBQ tank on my rear rack for now and going without a frame mounted propane tank. I would like to find one eventually, but this quick release setup works fine since we don't need furnace or inside stove while travelling.

TBC..............

Re: Out with the old, in with the new

continued........... Derek at CCV upholstered me some covers for my rear dinette/bed and I finally got them installed this weekend. They are the same upholstery used on the bed sections up top so everything matches now. I'm starting to run out of things to do to the van!!! I know, that's a laugh, isn't it

Man, what an awesome build! Thanks for taking the time to share and inspire us! If you don't mind me asking, what's a guy expect to pay to do an interior build like yours, minus the top. I have a quote already from CCV and my wife and I are trying to get a ballpark on what the interior will run. Any info. Would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Out with the old, in with the new

Thanks! I still haven't added up all of my costs, but probably $2-3k in materials for the interior, plus who knows how many man hours. I really wouldn't know how to calculate that. I worked on mine sporadically for an entire year or so.
The appliances such as inverter, furnace etc. are the big costs of course.
I'm no expert, I just started tinkering. It's the most involved thing I've ever done, with virtually all of my info gathered here.
