I have a e350 Econoline super duty xlt would it be the same t-55 most likely for the benches? I need them out asap; any other information you can tell me on it would be appreciated and is there a torx screw with less points or is it the samething when called a star bit ? I wrote that someone backwards but you know what I mean just need general information on this asap I went and got a 1/2 set but it seems like the biggest one isn't quite big enough or is it that the brackets are just made that way?

Should fit snug, I don't remember if it's a T55 or T60 but it's a big one. Head to an auto parts store like Napa or O'reilley (meaning better than average, if that's a thing) and get the better made individual socket one. It will be lifetime guaranteed and you might break one or two if dealing with old stubborn bolts with any rust at all under them, which is to say basically all of them given the Econoline's age.

I have read that the T55 will usually work, but the correct size is a "T55 Plus".

The front seat Torx bolts are indeed T55 PLUS---the standard T55 has the risk of stripping out the lobes on the bolt head.

If you can access the bolt threads from the underside of the body soak them with Kroil or any good grade of penetrating fluid. Using a powered impact gun on a low setting AND a hardened T55 PLUS socket will help remove frozen or seized bolts. Using anti-seize when re-installing them is a good idea as we never know when we'll need or want to remove the bolts once again.

I'm not overly familiar with the rear seats---bolts and types of heads could be very different. Most other advice I offer is applicable even to those fasteners.

Rear seats are the same as the fronts; T55 plus. I've only used a regular T55 and have not stripped one out, but you do need to take care not to go at it from an angle. I agree with hitting them with penetrating oil from the bottom if they haven't been taken out recently.

The biggest advantage to the T55 PLUS socket is it will better overcome a seized or rusted-in-place fastener. I've never used any other type socket for seat removal so can't speak to how well a standard T55 would work. The advice about taking care to not work at an angle when removing the seat bolts is very true.

When re-installing those bolts using a bit of anti-seize on the threads is highly advised----we never know when we'll need or want to remove them again.
