Ha! My wife is accusing me of that now. I just got the Westy pretty well sorted out, and then sold it for a Ford and now i have to build a camper out of it!

Re: Polar Bear 1

Life is getting too busy to work on the van. I was awarded a grant to build an art piece for a local festival... It's another Burner thing, our regional event. The piece is called the Temple of Moon. So, Polar Bear won't evolve much until July, after the event. Meanwhile, here's what I'll be working on:

Re: Polar Bear 1

Congrats on the grant! Hopefully we'll see some sidetrack/detour updates on the project as we're waiting to see what is new for Polar Bear. Based upon the rendering it should be fantastic (and fun)!

Re: Polar Bear 1

I've been fairly busy. Polar Bear is going to need new tie rods... I've been neglecting her entirely. The Temple, however, is coming along:

A month from now, I should be working on the van again.

The project is done. I'm spent. Here's a little glimpse of the end result:

People wrote lots of things on it:

I'll post other photos later when I recover. I'm looking forward to working on Polar Bear now. She was extremely useful to me during the Temple build. Sometimes it's great to own a van.

Re: Polar Bear 1

Nice looking temple but it's kind of a shame for so much work to go into something that ends up being ethereal.

Re: Polar Bear 1

So now that Apogaea is over with, I've been trying desperately to get to work on the van. I've spent a lot of days at the shop, but it was such a wreck after the event that I've done nothing but clean, sort, organize, etc. It's a large shared space so I'm not only cleaning up my crap, but everyone else who was part of Apo crunch time.

Finally, I got 1 day in this week where I really worked on the van. Mostly I cleaned and sorted the van (kinda like the shop). Then, all of the sudden it was 4th of July weekend... so I went camping.

Jen went with me and caught a little video while we were poking around in the woods looking for a good camp site:
