Pre-Made Econoline Interior Parts

Hello,

I have a 2002 Econoline passenger van with all of the interior taken out, including the seats and side panels. I full-time, and as such don't have access to a place or very many tools to custom make something myself. Even if i did, my carpentry skills are minimal. That said, are there any vendors that sell bolt on kits for interior pieces to make the shell into a camper van? I'm looking for things like wall panels, side seats with storage underneath, etc. I don't need a full build with sinks, cooktops, fridge, etc. I am just looking for something fairly simple yet good quality. My Google searches didn't really come up with anything. Please help with any suggestions or advice. If it matters, I'm currently in Colorado. Thanks!

Mark

Thanks for the tip!

I like the packages those folks offer. They do not seem to offer anything for a passenger van (with rear windows), only for cargo vans. I like the windows and don't really want to hide them. I'll write them a note and see if they can offer any additional leads!

Sorry, I didn't see the 'passenger' part. Why don't you just do stock plastic pieces? plenty of econolines in the junkyards!

As for seats with storage, nothing 'off the shelf' that I'm aware of..

If I did the plastic (and covered with speaker cloth or something, I'm not a huge fan of the plastic look), would I be able to attach future seats and such to the walls or would the plastic have to be off? Or is most furnishings in these vans just attached to a plywood floor only?

Search for 'popping my top' by member Boywonder. It's a great home build thread in a window van, and not a single hole in the plastic.

You did amazing work!

Yah, that plastic would be a fortune to ship!
If you ever want to sell the parts you built in there, let me know!
