Raised/Fiberglass Roof Vendor

Was asked to post a link to a supplier I'd found closer to me here in Columbus, Ohio than the west coast suppliers. They're willing to sell to end users which is a huge plus: http://www.sampsonfiberglass.com/

If I can answer any questions about them my knowledge is limited to phone conversations with them only, have never gone forward with the project prompting their discovery.

I do have a few photos of their products posted here: http://s184.photobucket.com/user/JWA...?sort=6&page=1 Feel free to browse that PhotoBucket page.

Raised Door Kit supplier:http://www.hensleycomposites.com/

Check 'em out if interested.

Re: Raised/Fiberglass Roof Vendor

I found them (Fiberglass M & E) a few months back as well. I was also looking for an East Coast supplier.

I exchanged email a couple of times but haven't pulled the trigger. Their pricing is very favorable compared to what others have posted up paying and to the pricing given to me by Fiberine.

They requested a small deposit to start and preferred for you to pick up at the factory. They load for free as well. Crating charge was extra but they would do it. All said and done it was about a week turnaround.

Hope this helps.

Re: Raised/Fiberglass Roof Vendor

You found Sampson Fiberglass Brian? Had I not known of them I'm not sure they're all that searchable----I could be wrong though.

Another thing I liked about Sampson was their offer include a top in a delivery run they make on occasion. It would not have been crated IIRC but transported safely on one of their specially designed trailers. The only glitch was finding a dealer who'd accept this for me wanting instead to sell me the top at a much higher price. The next option of course was to pick it up myself--they'd help strap it to my van---pre-paid of course.

Anyone willing to work with me like that is high on my recommended list!

Re: Raised/Fiberglass Roof Vendor

I found Sampson long ago. I never had any conversations with them. The most recent conversation top talk I've had was with fiberglassme which you mentioned in the Bohdi thread. Fiberglassme is not really local but the North Carolina pick up is appealing to me. Sorry for the confusion.

No problem Brian----just wanted to make this clear for anyone else looking in.

I loved FGME's animals and such---very cool but sadly I have no use for them. Gotta love a company with a small sense of whimsy!

Out west I'm aware only of Fiberine--they should come up in a Google search.

A few here have used them directly and they seem willing to work with end users.

Please know I have no directly dealing with Fiberine ever, they're the only west coast top supplier I am aware of currently.

I did contact them quite a while ago and was a bit concerned at their lack of follow through and promises to send photo examples of their optional features. It was only then I realized they were a small shop. I'm all for small businesses but not if they behave as detailed in the above link.

Grain of salt with my OP though---just vendors I've contacted, never used so far.
