Re: Review of my RV design specifications and drawings?

I would definitely advise gaucho bed right behind driver seat, not any cabinet. Reason is, higher side of cabinet may keep you from being able to recline driver seat back far enough. My 2000 Dodge SMB driver seat is crowded by cabinet behind it a bit and forces me, at 6' tall, to sit closer to steering wheel than I would prefer.

I agree. I have the fridge and counter right behind and I can't extend my seat back far enough for the long drives unlike my Suby.

My van is setup he same way with the fridge cabinet right behind the drivers seat. This prevented the seat from sliding back far enough to be comfortable.

Two weeks ago I installed new to me captain chairs on the existing swivel bases. An unexpected result of this was that there is more leg room and the seat back is more adjustable. This makes it more comfortable to drive Turns out the new seats are not as deep as the old one. Pleasant surprise.
