Made a tiara for the fiancée out of the left over Reflectix, she wasn't that impressed.

Re: SOCAL build

Got the overhead console done Saturday. Also picked up the battery for my Solar Panel, that came in Friday.

First thing I did was get a electrical junction box, bend the tabs out and paint it.

Next was test fit junction box, had to drill out the holes a little bigger so my bolts fit.

Re: SOCAL build

With that done I finish up the wiring. I had one of the wires pull out of the light so I added some silicone to help hold them in place. I only wired for the CD and Kenwood, have one spare, not sure what will go there, maybe a light bar or compressor.

Re: SOCAL build

Finished product, I added quick disconnects to make it easier to work on. Will mount that back today and hopefully get the battery and solar wiring done. My goal is to finish electrical and test by the end of the week.

Re: SOCAL build

Solar System arrive, went with a member (scalf77) recommendation.

http://www.amsolar.com/home/amr/page_19 ... e_sky.html

Bought the complete kit plus the temp sensor cable.

Also bought another 10' of 8awg to run to the battery.

Bought a 12V deep cell battery this week and a roof rack setup that I think will work for storage and solar panels.

I have just created a nice project for the weekend.
