Finished up with the big items, I have a few little things left to do but pretty much done. Took almost a year a cost about 4k more than I budgeted but its done.

You could staple a couple of canvas strips to every other space on your 1x4 slats, alternating spaces for each side to make setup/breakdown super fast. Also keeps the boards together nicely. That is unless you need to use the 1x4s for other purposes or want to separate them in storage.
