There ya go. I bought a bed for my kid and it came with slats like that. I would have suggested if it was not mentioned.

Am I correct assuming when in-use the cord stapled to the slats will be underneath it all?

If so wondering how slick or useful it would to have lengthened the individual cords and used a DIY bungee kit end hook as a way to secure them in a round bundle when not in use?

Too late now I know but I'm one of those "oh shucks--here's a better idea...." on my own projects, after the fact of course.

Great idea either way!
