Re: SOCAL build

Electrical is about ready for testing. Radio's are the last thing I am waiting on and they will be in today. Switches have not arrived but I don't need those to test with, just want to be 100% sure wires I ran behind walls will work.
Now I just need to get a battery and solar panel, not sure what I am going to get for that yet. Oh and order the roof rack for the solar panel, nice that Aluminess is only 30 minutes away.

30 AMP 125V Shore Power is done. What a pain it was finding a black one of these.

Re: SOCAL build

I saw this pic on the forum for surf racks and I wanted this (sorry I borrowed your picture). I was going to have a welder make them but came up with a better idea.

Re: SOCAL build

I was at West Marine and thought why not a flag pole holder since they are at a 45. Then I saw the price. On my way out I saw the fishing pole holder, I just reversed it. For $9 I think it will work out. It is held by three screws right now but I am going to add 2 more. Surprisingly solid.

Re: SOCAL build

And Brian, happy to answer any questions. I have learned a ton here, talked to a lot of knowledgeable folks on here and even ran into a member down in Baja randomly, pretty cool and great community.
