Tire size on 2013 Quigley

I'm looking for some input and advise on what size tires I should go with. 265's or 285's?
We rolled a 285 up in front of the stock 245 tires that came on it and they looked massive, but very cool. Would there be a considerable handling and fuel milage difference between the the two I'm looking at?

I run 285s on my quigley. Had 265s on there before the set I have now. Couldn't tell any noticeable difference in handling. If anything at all it might track a little looser in highway ruts, but better grip off road. I sure get a lot more compliments with the 85s tho.

Thanks. Did you have to trim anything for clearance? I changed out my front bumper so that should clear. And I really don't want to have to start cutting fenders.

It's all about the compliments, right? ;-)

I had 285's on my 04. There was some trimming involved of the rear bottom fender that Quigley did for me.

Trimmed the front bumper but that was all.
