Re: New to me QuadVan interior build out about to start.

Hi Romeo, I did not compare the two companies. I was looking for a top similar to the one that came on my van but just a little taller so I went with Fiberine again. I believe the Voyager is a little taller than I wanted. I think it's 24"? The Fiberine I went with is 20" and the one mine came with is 16".

Part of my decision to go with this top is based on possibly adding the pop top feature in the future and it's what Colorado Camper Van suggested would work based on my needs.

Being able to stand up right away and the entire length of the van is much better than expected for my needs.

Sportsmobile's 4x4 comes with Quick Disconnects, not sure what the origin is. I've always wanted an Currie AntiRock swaybar instead, and researched it to the point they provide solutions for full size vehicles, but not to the point of what would fit on the van...

New Years weekend in Big Bear....

Great time in Big Bear for the New Years weekend except....on the way down the hill the check engine light came on. Engine started running rough. Fairview Ford was close to the bottom of the mountain and stopped in to have it checked out. Coil went out. They had it fixed in an hour and continued home. Great service from those guys.

New to me QuadVan interior build out about to start.

Brent

Great experiment. Shows that there are good people around as opposed to what you hear on the news.

Can you post some photos of how you have have your camera mounted in the van? Also what video camera are you using?

Re: New to me QuadVan interior build out about to start.

Hi Larrie, I just stuck a GoPro Hero2 in the window with the suction cup it came with. They come with a bunch of different mounts that are easy to stick anywhere. Check out their website for great examples.

So it was either you, or a manager, that was doing a lot of standing around with arms crossed while everyone else was busy working.
