Re: Windows or walls?

I drove down to Van Specialties to get "CRL All Glass Look 32-1/2" x 18-1/4" Crank Out 1/8 CR " installed on my SMB. They have done a top notch job without taking out the wall and cabinets.
While it cost $$$, I am pleased with the result.

Re: Windows or walls?

Thumbs up for awning style windows. My wife and i are full-timers in a 38ft Mobile Suite in the Pacific Northwest. It has double pane HEIR windows that are awning style and we can open them even in a downpour...though one should be mindful about wind direction. Here on the Oregon Coast _sideways_ at 40 to 50mph is common in _winter storms_ and we batten down the hatches (and windows!).

Re: Windows or walls?

To close the loop, yes I got CRL all glass awning window installed on a SMB van that had interior wall/cabinet already installed. Folks at VanSpecialties was going to remove the interior to get the window installed but decided to cut thru and added a frame around it. As I said, guys know their stuff and great to work with. I am very happy with the result. I am sure it could've been cheaper if it had been part of the original build-up.
