Saw your van on FB

Hey Brother, I just spent the last hour of work reading this thread!! Really sweet rig! I dream of a diesel and a pop top! I have a 89 e150 5.0. 10k for a pop top seems crazy though. Really love seeing that thing on some trails, thats exciting as we do allot of trail rides and what not down here in Fl. Any new updates?

Spent the weekend getting the front Moog 880's Springs in the 2in shock extenders and the Caster camber adjustments in and tweaked..pretty darn close to PERFECT!!

Love the stance!! 2in in the front..4in in the rear!!

New springs ride so much better and the progressive rates really work amazing with the stock valving on the fox shocks!! I could have probably gotten it all done in 2 hours but I had to bend back my sway bar bracket when it was used as a tow point and I went slow and steady (tore my hernia mesh doing the rear springs so I'm taking things slow till I can get in for a fix)

Also spent some time playing around with the Drone...you really need a co-pilot.. I wrecked the drone twice and put the van in a ditch once..

Dronie (selfie drone shot..dji spark has cool pre-programmed stuff!!)

https://youtu.be/bbN_PBua93s

Auto follow and tapped the pass to left function (into tall grass and a tree..but she flew back to me and landed!!)

https://youtu.be/ItwmV1IjFjM

Auto follow me..elevation change messed with it..and watch till the end you see me slide the passenger side into a muddy ditch..(dumb move)

Played with the Drone some today..no new updates other than I gotta put 2 new calipers and at least 1 new rotor on...only made noise for 4 days till i lost brake pressure...im always so good about keeping an eye on stuff and maintenance...

So, lets all agree I take care of my vehicles.. I probably spend TOO MUCH time playing with them..a month ago I put new shocks and lift springs on the back and 2 weeks ago on the front..i thought the weird vibration was my aggressive tires rounding back out after Ford's weird suspension turns them into saw blades..

Lost brake pressure tonight after one of Columbus panic stops because people are on their phones not watching the road...so I figure I popped a line..get home to this!!! Inner part of the brake rotor I have looked at numerous times in the last month is COMPLETELY GONE!!

I'm beginning to question the shop pictures that claim people dont pay attention to their vehicles..

Videos today

Auto follow mode

https://youtu.be/CNXcI0BNtWk

Found out you can move the drone around and it still follows

Cool auto pan

https://youtu.be/ix5EfDSW5hk

Spark Drone Pan and land.

the drone was telling me the battery was low and it wanted to return to home.(1/4 mile back It must know how much battery it uses and changes the auto return home battery setpoint. it still had 40%

So, let me get this correct, you watched the rotor self destructing and it only made noise for 4 days? Well, if that's the rear, I've got a couple new in the box rotors for sale cheap.

I had been under the back a week before n it looked ok...had pulses for 4 days I thought it was the front tires because they are cupped...then lost pressure...found it eaten to the fins...

I ordered all new rotors calipers and ceramic pads from amazon and got them swapped over..

Much nice braking now!!

Thanks for the offer!

Finnaly tracked down my dome light issues!!

The fuse would randomly blow then I couldn't get the lights to turn off...after 3 attempts to diagnose a nicked wire or a bad door sensor. I started pulling wiring out and looking at it..

The 4ft section from the side door under the passenger door looked odd and I found it fused together...

While we were at it we added some more lighting to the walls.
