I’d love to get some good advice on how to do this!

I’d love to replace the over-hyped dysfunctional NovaTooCool cabinet fridge I have (and hate.....it runs continuously and freezes everything!) with a slide out chest style unit, but all of those I’ve found so far would stick out way too far into the aisle, if mounted perpendicular to the camper body.

I don’t have room to do a parallel installment without completely ripping apart all of the kitchen cabinets. Does anyone manufacture a deep, shorter stubby chest fridge?

(And no, it’s not just a matter of replacing my NovaTooCool thermostat!)

Thx

You think that’s high priced? Check this old beast out!

How about a 1975 van for $12,000 !!

Yeah, it’s a 4WD and has very low miles for its age (only @ 1,000 a year? How does even that work out?), but still?

And, “she'll need a new motor eventually”!

Weeeeeeeeellllll......it’s Seattle pricing!

Man, the dilemma of jumping in!!! Buying a car is one thing but 3-5x the price causes us to pause eh?!? At some point, your gonna have to just jump in and not look back...looks clean, looks like fun, and remember money talks and BS walks...waving some cash in front of the seller with an attitude that this is YOUR van should get you far....that is a nice chunk of change they can put in their bank account!! GOOD LUCK!!

Every once in a while a van-for-sale comes along, at a price that truly perplexes me.....

Seriously, $50k?
Am I missing something here?

For fifty-large:
>> You are getting what looks like a simple home-build, in a nearly-window-less, sliding-door basic E150, but of course with the Sportsmobile penthouse added? This looks like you could replicate it for around $20k (and some time spent in your garage/woodshop.)

If I had $50k to spend and was going looking for a penthouse-topped van, I think I'd be looking at some of the well-kept 4WD vans that are out there.....
