If you're serious about selling the van I recommend lots of exterior and undercarriage pics and info about the actual van. I don't want to surprise you but no one cares much about the homebuilt interior unless there is some value in appliances, etc. Howbout year model, miles, engine, maintenance done, close up pics of things, etc. Rust? Accidents? The value of an older 2wd 5.4l v8 Ford van with average miles, a Fiberine top and a home made wooden interior is probably $5k. PUT THE SPECS IN THE FIRST POST! No one cares to dig for that stuff. They'll just move on.

Once again I'll say it and I'm not trying to be a dick.........good luck.

Have you ever seen a fiberine top e350 even in shit condition for $5k? The solar system alone is worth $4k thank you for your advice. The pics and post will get better. If this post doesn't do it.

The problem with home builds is they are usually built around specific individuals requirements. I dont think the average person looking at this tier of van wants/needs $4k of solar.

Also, in my opinion, a huge sticking point for most will be the lack of a dedicated driver seat.

Reread 86Scotty's post:

There is some value in 1000 Watts of solar, but not anywhere near $4000.

Seeing as the solar setup is a large selling point, any chance to get some more details on it? Panels, controller etc?

I'm not trying to trash your ad. If the comments were only mine I would delete them, but I think you can probably see that I'm not the only one suggesting a little more info in your ad.

I would most definitely post this on Expedition Portal as well, where there is a large presence of home build van folks and those interested in such. They too are going to want to know more specifics about the van itself and the unusual lack of a driver's seat.

FLex max 80 amp charge controller (can handle up to 6000 watt pv in) 490 ah 12volt battery bank and goal zero yeti 1250 ac/dc interface. Key benefits here are the ability to scale the system up for a house in the future, and the surface area of the solar panels are larger than the top of the van which provides shade on hot days. Panels are 4X 270 watt top of the line panels for commercial installations.

IM selling at cost so with the solar being $1000 cheaper than I remember I'll sell it for $14k also I still have the front seats and can install them apon request. Which would reduce the size of the bed from a queen to a single

If I were you I'd post this on cheaprvling.com van dweller forum. It seems like it's been built to be a dweller, bugout, desert rat rig.

One thing to consider... just because you put $14k into it doesn't necessarily mean it's worth $14k. Personally I think it worth less...

There is lots of knowledge on this forum and the guys who have been asking question and making suggestions know there stuff...

I would say that this rig isn't for 98% of the people looking to buy on this forum. Why? If you take the time to look at some of the home builds here in this group you realize what people expect...

There's a buyer... maybe for your price but probably not here... GLWS. [emoji106]
