Woohoo! Congrats! Maybe we should ask for a vintage SMB forum to be added.

BTW I purchased the 808Van. Been a bit crazy week but I'll start posting more pics and updates soon. I am planning to update the interior for modern functionality but maintain the retro style. This beast will be used it is not a show piece. I brought it by SMB West and the team got a big kick out of it. Unfortunately Allen would not trade me a new rig for it

Nice to see both of these vans back on the road. The $600 is a great base, will need a lot of work but that also a fun part. That green one is awesome looking! Used to be in Hawaii if I recall. It will probably need a bit OD tuning on the driveline but that's a keeper's sure!!!

You guys make sure to join the Facebook pages for these old vans and the 2nd gen forum. Tons of info. And one day we'll hopefully meet on the road travelling with our old vans!!!

Cheers
David

That's awesome, I think the 808Van is by far the best built vintage 4x4 van I have seen, and it's motivation for us to set the bar high and try and achieve a similar build. It's going to be a fun process and we are 100% committed. Stoked that the 808Van went to someone on the forum and it's cool to see how viral this van has gone on the internet since you bought it. Much more that the other two owners

So the van (aka Van69) has left the building… meaning Mikracer's place. Big thank you to Jin for helping us out. I'd say getting a shipper was interesting to say the least. Here's a pretty good video by Mikracer when they loaded it up. Which happened tonight but was supposed to happen tomorrow morning. But we are stoked it's on it's way...
