I think I've seen that one advertised before, but can't recall the price.

$25K? Can I retroactively raise the price of my SMB which I sold earlier this year? Clearly I sold it for way too little!

Yep, mine is definitely a steal (everyone else's for sale/sold for that matter)!

Re: 1976 Ford RB SMB 4x4 $25,000

Wow maybe I can get my old award winning, magazine and newspaper featured, 1977 Chevy show van back from the guy I sold it to after I had it for 29 years. That must be worth close to $15,000 if that Ford is worth $25,000.

I don't know how much a Sportsmobile conversion was in 1976 but I do know that for $7,000 you could get a brand new GM Pathfinder or Vemco/Dana VX4 4x4 van in 1977.

So maybe it was $10,000 in 1976 for that Ford? Even if it is really nice its still an old van and while it would be nice if they were more valuable, they at least so far just aren't. But I will say that vans old and new are becoming more popular again.

Re: 1976 Ford RB SMB 4x4 $25,000

Don't get me wrong, the old vans ARE cool, but i'm just guessing it has a big block in it.

At that price I was looking for the description that said "6BT conversion with 5 speed manual and GV overdrive gets 18-20 MPG". Realistically, it is likely a carbureted 460 with a C6 and you should expect 8-10 MPG.

Still looks pretty good for its age though.
