1978 G30 4x4 Chevy Van for sale $1800.00

Thought someone may be interested in this van. Is located in Reno Nv. I Looked at it this weekend. Looks to be all there, 4x4 looks like a professional installation--prob pathfinder, not sure. Cosmetically shows poor--Inside of van needs gutted, has surface rust on outside. Says runs if fuel is dripped into carb. Would be a good project, too big for me. Contact #775-313-5444--Rob

Hey is that van brown and parked in a back yard with other old cars on the Tahoe side of town?
I have pictures of it if it is. It is a Pathfinder conversion. I looked at it years ago when I was into those vans.
I still have two complete 1971-1995 GM Pathfinder 4x4 drive lines if anyone wants one.

It is a brown van, but not in Tahoe, in the area closer to South Reno. The 4x4 installation looks clean, got a real cool bumper on the back.

The van is one of many Ford's, Chevy's, GMC's and Dodges built/converted by Pathfinder from 1974 until they went out of business in 1991 or 92. I collected the GM ones for a while so I know a lot about them. I think I have had four or five of them through the years. I have a few buddies that still use them all the time. Here is what one can look like.

The van has a 400 small block, a new carburetor, fuel pump and old van headers. It could be fixed up and it shows only 57,000 miles but it would take some time to be nice again. if someone wants an old van as a project this could be a good one. despite how it looks the rust was when I saw it last over two years ago mostly surface rust. If my memory is correct only the sliding door had holes. It has almost all original paint, a plus for you body guys except in the left rear where it has been hit , repaired and blended.
