12 years ago, while living in Oregon, I bought a SMP in Florida through CL. I paid a $500 (refundable) deposit and flew there. Looked it over; seemed ok. Paid the $28k balance (yeah, they were cheaper then) and got as far as Georgia before I had to take it to a Ford dealer and put $2500 for new glow plugs and injectors. I sure was pleased by that. Regardless, that was the last work I had to do on it that wasn't "tricking it out".
