1995 GMC 3500 Vandura with Quigley 4x4

He mentions the GMC conversion is Rare -- does that mean it will be harder to find someone to service? Also, do these GMC vans tend to get the same mileage as the Fords? That is, might I expect to get 200,000 miles?

It has 134000 miles on it now. It has a small block Chevy
engine which are good engines. There are tons of after market
parts for those engines. I can't tell you if it will go another
64000 miles. But I think you could get a rebuilt engine
at a fairly decent price.

The small block chevy is so abundant that if for any reason the motor decides to take a dump on you, you would be able to replace it at a very reasonable price. As far as servicing the 4x4, I think you could contact Quigley for replacement part numbers and a competant mechanic should be able to service what it needs.
