Good catch; I hadn't picked up on that. It also has what looks like the standard propane stove (my '97 had one that looked just the same), and that stove would run on low-pressure gas (such as you would get with a built in tank and regulator), not the disposable canisters (which presume a regulator on the appliance). I'm sure you could rig it up to work somehow with disposable canisters and a separate regulator - or maybe they have a DOT tank and regulator under the counter (shudder), but why would you do that?
I'm not looking for a van like this at this time, but if I were I would want to figure out what was up with the propane system for sure. Not saying there is anything sinister going on, but it just doesn't totally add up from the photos/info from what I can see.
Does look like a nice van. My '97 was very similar but with slight variation at the back end, furniture wise. I found the layout to be great (my refrigerator was on the opposite side though, away from the gaucho bed).
