They are a small operation that does 4x4 conversions on older high mileage vans. They are on the opposite end of the spectrum from more detail oriented 4x4 kits.
And this is almost certainly one of theirs.
If the price is right, their offerings can offer an alternative, more cost sensitive, approach to someone that understands what they are buying. However someone that doesn't understand this is likely to be surprised by some of the corners that were cut. Also, these are old, high mileage vans that they convert and clean up to capitalize on the SMB look. No one should overpay for these. This is the budget end of the rugged 4x4 camper van look.
I have one of their vans and have re-engineered and fixed a lot of issues over the past 10+ years or so. I've certainly learned things I would not have learned otherwise. Cost is a bit of a wash at this point, but I certainly would have come out ahead in my personal time invested if I had I gone with a ujoint kit on a used van at the time. I may in fact still be ahead on cost, and I really didn't have a lot of money back when I bought the van.
I do fault them for not always presenting these clearly as their own conversions.
