1999 E250 What's It Worth
I am going to put my 1999 Ford Ford E250 SMB on the market soon and wonder if some folks could give me an opinion generally what this year would go for. Its in real good shape, always stored covered, 49,812 miles on odometer. 5.4 L V-8, New tires, battery, house battery couple year old. Cummins Onan generator. I am located in Anacortes WA, about 100 miles north of Seattle.

That's a nice clean rig and will make someone very happy (should you go forth with the sale). If you haven't already, consider giving the folks at Sportsmobile's used vehicle sales a call and ask their opinions. Considering it's a "2wd E250 gasser", my WAG (wild ass guess) would be around 35K...

Well, I typed a response on this earlier and not sure where it went.
Big plusses: Onan, super low mileage, toilet/shower in a pop top is rare.
Negatives: 20 years old and has a dated paint scheme with the stripes. Some folks dig em, many don't. Are they clear coated on the van? If not with your low mileage the paint fade sans stripes might not be noticeable, especially if stored indoors.
My guess, $25-30k

Hey we’re twinsies! Here’s our 1998 SMB. Stripes are painted on for sure. I’ve actually grown to like them over the years. Don’t be a hater @86scotty

Bri you KNOW Scotty is NO hater on here! !! He tells it like it is w/o an ounce of bias...maybe a gram or two...BUT, I am SURE the "vintage" look will turn somebody on!! I know a super clean '98, 123K miles, PHtop, awning, no generator, with a similar "vintage" paint went around $26K...so I am thinking Scottty n Steve are pretty close to actual Retail value (without going over)...BUT, that thing is SOOOOO CLEAN and pretty, I am sure I would start at $37K and hope for a $30-$35K settle!

Touche Brian Notice I said some dig em, many don't. That could be reversible. Many dig em, some don't. And there are some who have camper van envy and hang out a lot on camper van forums even though they don't have a van because they have no other life.... ...And then there are others who have 2 or 3. Actually, that could be me (again) by next week.
On another note I forgot exactly what yours looks like. When I saw this one I was thinking man, that looks familiar!

I'm waiting for my paint scheme on mine to come back along with my cache of bell bottoms and leisure suits. It's only a matter of time.
