2000 4x2 E250 with ~49k miles for $56k

Looks like a clean rig and priced about right.

$56k for an 18-year-old 2WD with a 5.4 engine?

Methinks the seller needs to knock at least $20k off this asking price before it's priced about right.

(Or alternatively the seller could ask the same selling price if they first install 4WD....or a V10....or both....)

Priced about wrong

You shouldn't ask 4x4 prices after bolting on expensive bumpers and wheels/tires. That is a sub $40k van, I don't care what market it is being sold in.

Well maybe we ought to break down the overall price here.

1) 2000 E250 5.4L Sportsmobile: ~$25k
2) Lift Kit: ~$3k
3) Wheels/Tires/Bumpers/etc: ~$5k
---------------------------------------
Total reasonable asking price: ~$33k

....but wait!
Forgot to add in the standard:

4) #vanlife $23k markup

The thing looks exactly like a 4x4 with a big engine. They may well get close to asking.

I suspect that thing is easier to sell than a 4x4 with a v10 and stock bumpers.

Yup! thought WTF then read below and had to LOL! Maybe if it was a 4x4 but not at 4x2! And I still think it's high if it was a 4x4 (to me it's worth $38k 4x4)! But people love to over pay all the time... which is fine by me
