Re: 2000 SPORTSMOBILE FOR SALE PRICE?????
At 35k asking price and some convincing from the wife I may be a player.
I am trying to be in San Diego the last week of March to check out a trawler and would just have to add a cross country back to Michigan onto my trip.
Regardless of my interest, I am pretty sure if you ask $45k you will get enough interest and sell closer to that mark. Look through the "sold" listings on the Sportsmobile West used page and you will see that once the rigs get below $40k they get snapped up. Your's has sufficient off-road bling that someone will take it off your hands.
My altruism only goes so far, if I was really ready for one (it is the floor plan I like) I would be trying to convince you (convince me I should just do it) it is only worth $35k.
Here is a rough formula for those of us who really aren't a wrench and can't lay a bead:
* Decent V-10, 7.3 or 6.0 Van with only 68k miles - $15,000
* UJoint, Colorado Camper, Boulder Off road 4x4 conversion the way you want it - $15,000
* High top conversion - $3,000
* Aluminess Bling - $7,000
* Interior build out - ?????
* Solar addition - ?????
Good luck with the sale.
