2004 E-350 diesel Quigley 4x4 EB on EBay

104k miles. Lifted fairly high. Interior is essentially a blank slate. Looks pretty clean in the photos, although I don't have the knowledge to assess the conversion and other custom stuff. Also, it appears to have been a fleet vehicle until last May, and has an accident reported last November. Located in Salt Lake City. Current bid $20k. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...4037&viewitem=

Whoa, that looks like 10-12" of lift. I might be scared to drive that down the road at 85mph like the ad says it does.

Looks clean with the 08 front clip on it.

So what's the deal with the front clip? Are the front ends of the 09s so similar to the older models that the parts are interchangeable, or was this thing so damaged that they had to rebuild the whole front???

That is the 3rd van I've seen with later front clip added. It looks like the van hasn't changed from the door back, so the front clip should be a bolt on. You may have change the radiator support to go with it.

It depends on if you like the looks of the later van or not.

Re: 2004 E-350 diesel Quigley 4x4 EB on EBay

It looked wrong to me, maybe it was the angle in the first picture, but I went out and compared a real 09 and the hood and fenders are correct for 08. The hood looks misaligned in the front shot, which is what got me thinking I could figure out what was what (it doesn't close all the way/flush).

From my photo inspection the hood, grill, lights and side fenders all are 08+. You can tell on the fenders because the 07 down have a crease that goes all the way forward over the headlights, and in the 08+ it stops shy of the light- if the earlier fenders were cut the crease would intersect the headlight.

That doesn't say anything for how the parts fit to the earlier body, but more people are doing it, it must be reasonably possible.

Im pretty sure this one "sold" on ebay about a month ago. It was listed by desert autoplex previously. this listing curiously has the same verbage about "heading for the wide open spaces" that Desert autoplex attaches to their ads.
