Found this on Facebook. Seller admitted to it being bought at auction as a flood loss with rebuilt title. Says hes gone through it and been driving it with no issues. Thoughts?

Since he doesn’t mention that I his ad I be wary of what else he doesn’t mention. He’ll probably get his price from some unsuspecting buyer who doesn’t notice the rebuilt title or doesn’t ask.

He did at least volunteer that info but still wary. He gave me the vin and planning on doing some research today. Curious to see what the bank and ins company have to day about it.

Banks not going to loan money on a flood recovery vehicle. They might give you a personal loan that you can use to buy it, but they wont accept a flood damaged vehcile as securement for a loan.

Its comical that he states in his ad "low offers will be ignored".
What exactly is a low offer on a vehicle that never should have been resold once it was totaled by the insurance?

Also look into insurance and see if you can get more than just liability.

I've bought a Salvaged vehicle before, and have had no issues with regards to the salvage-rebuild process. The Salvage status was disclosed to me, and I was extra diligent in my research and took the plunge and have no regrets.
